Hybrid wood

A combination of Burl wood and coloured resin

We're always looking for ways to improve

All the wood we use is stabilised. This is a process in which wood is soaked in resin, vacuumed, pressurised then baked. It’s a way of impregnating the wood to thoroughly harden it, meaning it’s much better for kitchen environments.

The Hybrid technique uses the same process but with Burls. These pieces are placed in moulds and surrounded by died resins.

The result… half wood half resin.
